Chocolate Christmas Cookies

Last weekend I made Christmas cookies
They were really good and they turned out really yummy and I felt like sharing the recipe with you since I am not doing any fashion posts this month.
This is definitely a great recipe to do with kids my younger siblings loved them!

This Recipe makes about 2-3 dozen Cookies

What you need
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in one egg until completely incorporated; beat in last egg along with vanilla extract.

2.Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture until just incorporated. the consistency should be a bit gooey like so
3.Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto parchment paper covered baking sheet

4.Half way through take out the cookies and place the chocolate chips in them

5. Bake in preheated oven until edges of cookies are some what firm, about 10 minutes.

6. If you want your cookies in a specific shape the quickly press the shape in the the hot fresh cookie. Make sure to use a metal cookie cutter because the plastic will melt. Wait till cool before frosting

7.Use vanilla frosting and left over chocolate chips and cookie bits to decorate.

8.Stuff your face with cookies.
Enjoy
