A Christmas OTD

Sorry about the awkward picture I couldn't get a better one :p

I wanted to post a Christmas OTD because I really like what I wore. I ended up not doing much for christmas i saw the doctor who christmas special, got some doc martens that I am swapping for another color but thats a bout it. The ugly Christmas cardigan was a gift from a good friend, the top was thrifted, I was going to buy this gorgeous bright red tartan dress from the 90's a vintage shop but I walked up there and she expected me to pay 25$ for something used! When you go to a thrift or vintage show there is no way you should ever pay that much unless its from a long time ago (70's and back) or from a really good designer.
I ended up walking down the block to a thrift store where I bought 7 things for 9$ , including the top which was is from the 80's.

So when you guys go thriftingwhat's the max amount you will spend?

A Bath and Body Haul

Hey guys long time no see,
A couple days ago I went shopping for gifts but ended up buying a couple gifts for my self!
The 3 on the left I picked up from lush. The one I am most excied for is the Golden Wonder Bomb( the one shaped like a present) because I heard Tales of a Pale face rave about it so I just had to get it. It is suppose to change from the cream color it is to blue and then when it's done it's suppose to show glitter stars in the center. I have never bought a glittery bathbomb but I don't know something about it really stuck with me.
The mustache is a bubble wand it kind of smells like laundry detergent but my sister loves mustaches so I bought one for her because she has been wanting this bubble wand for awhile.

The reddish orange thing is a play-doe like soap called FUN it's from Japan it smells like strawberries and oranges I am so excited to try this out mostly because of the smell and because it seems like something fun to fidget with in the tub.

The last thing, the body butter I got for a steal, it was only 5$ that's like 75% the normal price. It's cranberry scented and I almost didn't get it because it has this really odd scent, it kinda smells like a beer or something oddly enough but once you put it on your skin it doesn't smell like beer and kinda has a light cranberry sauce like smell.

So what is you favorite bath or body product

Procrastination

Hi
Sorry I haven't posted anything for like the past 3ish weeks ( maybe 2 idk).
Its been kind of crazy with projects finals starting tomorrow and tests. I literally have had no time at all (the only reason I am allowing myself to do this is because I am procrastinating studying for a English final).
Again sorry.
But the good new is that you guys can still see content from me because I finally got a tumblr!!!
You can follow me at
http://thelostgalaxycalledmymind.tumblr.com/
I just got it Saturday so it's not to fancy yet, sorry

But anyway I the theme of Procrastination here are three of my favorite you tube video's on the subject of it

Enjoy.

Chocolate Christmas Cookies

Last weekend I made Christmas cookies
They were really good and they turned out really yummy and I felt like sharing the recipe with you since I am not doing any fashion posts this month.
This is definitely a great recipe to do with kids my younger siblings loved them!

This Recipe makes about 2-3 dozen Cookies

What you need
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in one egg until completely incorporated; beat in last egg along with vanilla extract.

2.Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture until just incorporated. the consistency should be a bit gooey like so
3.Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto parchment paper covered baking sheet

4.Half way through take out the cookies and place the chocolate chips in them

5. Bake in preheated oven until edges of cookies are some what firm, about 10 minutes.

6. If you want your cookies in a specific shape the quickly press the shape in the the hot fresh cookie. Make sure to use a metal cookie cutter because the plastic will melt. Wait till cool before frosting

7.Use vanilla frosting and left over chocolate chips and cookie bits to decorate.

8.Stuff your face with cookies.
Enjoy

November favorites

Items Pictured
Lush Twilight Shower Gel
Target Wide Brimmed Plum Fedora
Never Shout Never Harmony
Plague By Micheal Grant
Minted Rose Lip Balm Smiths
Essie Waltz
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Serum

Before I get to the rest of the post I wanted to say that recently I have done a ton of fashion/beauty posts since i started my blog. For the rest of this month I have decided that I will not be doing anymore of those posts just to change it up.  So Comment Below Tell Me what Non-Fashion Posts you would like to see.

This November's favorites are a combination of new and old. Plague and Never Shout Never's Harmony  are rediscovered old loves and the rest are recent.

Lush Twilight Shower Gel
I went to Lush late October and I think that Lush was trying to get rid of the shower gel because I got 7 samples. At first I was disappointed because I didn't like the scent so I didn't use it until Mid-November, however once in the shower the sent isn't as strong and it becomes a really nice fresh lavender smell that lingers on the skin

Target Wide Brimmed Plum Fedora
My sister was always into fedoras she has at least 10 in her closet, I never thought they looked right on me till I bought a wide Brimmed one and they became a go-to for bad/lazy hair days. This plum one is my Favorite out of the two I own.

Never Shout Never Harmony
This CD has good memories for me, I actually got it at his concert. His new album
Indigo, came out last month and in anticipation for it I re listened to all his music this one being the favorite album however.

Plague By Micheal Grant
So in Love with this series I love Mr. Grants books he is a really creative writer. This book is a part of the Gone series it is dystopian  but it is so different from the others. I don't want to go too in depth or I will be be typing for hours but defiantly check the series out you will not regret it.

 Minted Rose Lip Balm Smiths\
I like this because it is cheaper then the Sugar Lip balms Sephora sells but it still works really nice. Plus it gives your lips a nice shine but its not so much it is a gloss.

Essie Waltz
Its is a really nice sheer white. I love it because its nude and gives your nails a really nice coloring.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Serum
This is not as good as the Vitamin C one they sell but its really nice and priced reasonably. I leaves your skin quite soft and it is suppose to protect it too. You just layer this under your moisturizer and your good too go.
