So I was looking through some of my followers blogs and I saw this one post by Lali pops of colour that really inspired me to add a pop of neon color to my oufit which mainly consists of fall dark, neutrals (sometimes a pastel or jewel tone) all year long so I dug up these gorgeous pair of neon blue by HUE tights out if the depths of my draw s and put this together.
Anyway I was really proud of this outfit but then I was hanging out with my friends during a free period and all of a sudden they just started judging my outfit. Like they were like what's with the tights I never really was never into color blocking ( she didn't know what she was talking about color blocking requires more then one pop of color and I was wearing a patterned dress so that's not color blocking...) and then they told me try losing the jacket and it was all just super rule and weird because a they and a lot of other people had complimented me on the outfit all day. But anyway I felt really bad about what I was wearing for the rest of the day till I realized that I can't take other people's opinions too seriously and I have to learn to have confidence in my choices and in my self.
This is a song by Ed Sheeran it's kinda old but we don't hear much about him in the US so he's new too me.
What I like about this a lot is his style of rap ( can you call it rap?) and his voice, and that note that he hits when he says loooove and his beer-drinking cat and his... Ok you get the point, enjoy
Ps. Is that cat attacking Robert Sheehan?!?!

A Day I'll Remeber
Ok so first of all I want to remind you if you already didn't know about it to vote in the fashion and music post your vote in the comments!!!!
Now back to the outfit post. I know what your thinking, your all thinking " Jesus Christ Simone quit going to parties I am sick of your fancy dress posts." Lucky for you guys this will be mostly likely the last fancy outfit you will see probably till April or May and this party is DEFINITELY something you have to blog about.
Ok my friend was lucky enough to win a HUGE Quinceanera Via Verizon Wireless it was huge it was actually mentioned on Yahoo's website, the channel 10 news and People magazine's website (sorry I could not find the People magazine link).
So anyway in short I was going to the party of the year. And if you read my homecoming recap you know that the dress I bought was not fit for jumping and dancing. So LITERALLY the day of the party I had to rush it to Macy's to find a dress for the party which was had because at Quinceanera's wedding rules apply, you can't wear the same color dress or upstage the birthday girl in anyway.
So I am at Macy's and I am flipping through dresses and over the intercom the lady says something about bra's and then says "all those here too see THE READY SET preform go to the 3rd floor balcony." And guys I have to tell you I almost freaking screamed in front of the bra section at Macy's. I was that excited. Unfortunately because I had to get a dress a bra and earrings for the party I wasn't able to watch the concert. But I heard it when I was shopping and they sound almost the same live I gotta say. The best part though was when I walked past the auto graph table and one of the guys winked at me when I gawked at him..
But anyway fast forward to the party.
This party was legit like one of the ones you see on MTV it had a chocolate fountain beautiful decorations and a huge dace floor.

Oh and did I forget to mention DADDY YANKEE was there too? If you didn't know already Daddy Yankee is a Latin music super star he is like one of the most famous Puerto Rican musicians ever. And let me say even though almost 1/3 of the songs we danced to were in Spanish I still had a blast I even got to dance with the hottest guy at the party, Twice!

Honestly even though it wasn't my day to celebrate it will certainly be a day to remember.

Fashion and Music: The 60's
Hiiii blogggg
I am ridiculously excited about this new idea i came up with for you all. I am starting this segment on our blog because I feel like alot of fashion is a direct reflection on a subculture or a spirit of a people or a mindset of a single idea that reflects also in music. To me fashion and music are one in the same. So in this segment I am going to post 3 songs under a single theme this (weeks theme is the 60's) and then you guys can vote on the poll I set up and whatever song wins I make a outfit of. The outfit will be based off the style of the followers of the group the group it self the video the lyrics and so on and so forth. simple enough right.Ok so I chose the 60's, this week because well honestly I am kinda obsessed with the songs of the 60's especially these guys:
The Supremes- Baby love
UPDATE: so the poll doesn't seem to work the next time I post one of these segments I will have it figured out but for now please put your vote in the comments

Cozy Saturday's, Genocide, and a MTV sized Quinceanera: My first OTD
Shirt- Hand painted Hanes shirt
Hat - Forever21
Pants- 5-7-9
Purse- Airport in London
Sweater- from who knows where
Hellllllooooo bllloogggg
First of all I wanna say thanx to all the new followers and the old followers and anyone who commented on my blog. It was really cool seeing you responses and your oppinions in the comoments it was one of the highlights of my Saturday.
My Saturday was semi productive ( well at least more productive then most Saturdays) I got up around 8sh because I had to go to a art class. I then went to a friend house for an Amnesty meeting. Amnesty is a humanitarian group that works in with highschools to help stop genocide and injustices in the world and raise awareness too them and raise money and such. We haven't gotten the club to our school yet but we are working on it and it will become a club sometime next year. I am kind of excited about this because I am really passionate about humanitarian issues especially genocide and I don't think we as a society do enough to help these people. Anyway the rest of the day I ran around with my mom or sat in the car nestled in my my giant cozy sweater that isn't the most flattering but it's comfortable so I don't care.
This up coming Saturday though will be a bit less cozy. I am going to this quinceanera that my friend won through a Verizon Wireless contest it's gonna be huge like I am gonna compare it to the grandeur of one of those sweet 16s on MTV. And theres gonna be a celb there am not spoiling who its is yet but its someone pretty well known in the mexican community. I am super exited!!! I will definitely be posting a recap for this
Now I am having trouble deciding on weather I should make a party nail polish post with my recap or a polyvore set of my party outfit.
Comment bellow and tell me what you would like

Homecoming
Hello blog I really Miss you things have been hectic lately but I really wanted to get my homecoming Post out and give you a recap. I was going to post a picture of my self decked out in my homecoming dress but I have a secret to tell you. I am extremely unphotogenic and camaras make me nervous so my picture are all ways a fail. And for some reason In one of my picture I look extremely Frida Kahlo esque, eyebrows and all so in short I will not be posting the pictures.
Despite my awful picture I was really pleased with how I looked that night. The only thing I would have done diffrently is wear a gown with straps as much as I am In love with this dress from modcloth its not fit for hardcore dancing. I really have to recommend the naked at night pallet by too faced though it makes a amazing bronzed smokey eye. In terms of the dance I had a great time I love Dances and partys and the music and the lights of it all its probably one of my favorite things in the world. I love the way the whole effect me gives me this invincable nothing-could-ever-go wrong hazy feeling that I imagine is similar to being Intoxicated. The only bad thing about the dance is I did something a bit stupid. See theres this guy that I have this thing for and I was a bit to bold with him. See this is that guy you don't know. That guy you see in the halls and you think, Jesus he's beautiful but you never bother to talk to him because you don't know him and even though you would love to know him you don't ever get the chance to talk to him. You guys know the type of guy I am talking about. So in the haze of dancing bodys and pounding music I see this guy and I rush over and start danceing next to him and before you know it my incohernt mind startes to blindly follow him for the rest of the night. It wasn't like I was right on top of him following him everystep of the way but every couple of minutes I would naturally follow him to where ever he was occationally bumping into him and grazing him as I danced now and then.
After awhile though I think he noticed I was following him but I amnot totally sure. At one point I swear he gave me a look and pointed a finger at me but I am not totally sure because the music and the danceing and the lights and everything had me on sensory overload. So I guess the moral of the story is to not stalk cute guys.

Peter pan collar nails
Hello blog today I have a nail tutorial in store for you in honor of Nails. Fashion. Beauty. Life who does amazing nails on her blog. Thank you so much for following me I really appreciated it!
So this tutorials very simple I think just about anyone can do it with a little practice
So here's what you need:
Paper reinforcement stickers
A nail polish striper( or a nail art pen you could even use a tooth pick)
A nail polish of the the same color as the nail striper
And a nail polish of a totally different color
1. So first stick the paper reinforcement sticker over
the cutical just enough so about say half the stiker is on your nail and then paint over it like so.
2.Then when that drys take off the sticker if you want ( if your new to nail art I suggest you don't do it's a bit easier then the sticker is still on).

3.Then you want to draw the curved line of the collar with the nail striper and then another line to finish the out line.
4. Then after you draw the lines for the collar you want to fill it in with nail polish.
5. Then you want to give it a top coat and clean it up a bit to you liking (sorry no picture for this I forgot to take a picture of the finished product.)
